Liza Vintova

BIOGRAPHY
1971 was born in Moscow. She studied at the Moscow Architectural Institute under Prof. O.D. Breslavtsev, from which she graduated in 1998. Her graduation paper focussed on “The Adaptation of the Moscow Gas Works behind the Kursk Railway Station to Serve as a Multifunctional Complex”.
1993 – spent one semester at the Bauhaus ArtStudio, Dessau, Germany.
1997 – 4th Prize of the All-Russia Architectural Competition for the “Renovation of the Hermitage Garden”; 3rd Prize of the Competition for the design of a “Children’s Café in Manezhnaya Square”
1998 – 1st Prize of the All-Russia Architectural Competition for the “Adaptation of Industrial Facilities on the Yauza River to Serve as an Entertainment Centre”; Yakov Chernikhov International Foundation (ICIF) certificate
1999 – annual presidential scholarship for creativity
2000 – to the present lives in Moscow and works as an architect specialising in interior design; has to her name dozens of residential and public space interiors primarily in Moscow.
2010 – to the present has been developing and making handmade designer ornaments under the brand name of lizavintova.
